Ellen’s birthday was Sunday. Living without calendars and schedules, I wasn’t aware of this fact until late Saturday. A Sunday birthday was terribly inconvenient and Jamie really wanted to go to a party for an ex-coworker so we simply moved her birthday. Aren’t we absolutely EVIL? It has turned out to be for the best though, now we can all get together to celebrate her birthday while really musing with the afore-mentioned family member and discuss options. The biopsy showed an advanced stage (according to my sister) or border-line advanced stage (according to the family member) cancer. A bone scan is the next plan of action.

Oh, I am so sorry about your family member.
Damn cancer.
When is the bone scan?
I sure hate to hear that one of your family members got not-sooo-good results from the testing!!!! Life just isn’t quite fair at times, is it??
PLEASE give Ellen a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her from me!!!! Birthdays are always important days for the little ones……..even if it IS on a different day. We almost always did that for our children.
John
I am so sorry too, cancer stinks.
On a lighter note, my son remarked recently how weird it was that all our birthdays are on Saturdays
