We got a receiver, car adapter and home adapter all at Costco mainly so Jamie could get his fix of Howard, now that Howard is on Sirius. I looked over the stations they offered and figured I’d probably be listening to NPR. Ho hum.
Last night, Jamie, after replacing the rotors on the van, installed the Sirius in the trailer (I am arranging a portfolio for us and taking care of the kids) and he then spent the rest of the night completely enraptured by the Kids channel. Yes, JAMIE! This morning he brought the receiver over to the trailer (he had it in the guesthouse with his MP3 player) and Pike and I have been spellbound by Radio Classics. Peter Marlowe and The Whistler. This is INCREDIBLE! I’m loving the music and great (though terribly Politically Incorrect) programming. The commericals (original) are killer.
Chrissy and I did Yoga today with a twist. The twist being two sometimes screaming, climbing, yelling, fighting, demanding, crying, excited little girls. Even through not being able to count our breaths (explaining or answering questions), having to look up constantly to see if we were going to land or jump on one of them, Chrissy was able to figure out yet another new trick and while I doubt I could describe it, we can now go backwards a bit. Oh, and when Becky is around, corpse pose=time to nurse.
The book we are using is David Swenson’s A Practice Manual.

Oh! Have you heard The Shadow yet? I love that one. My dad and I used to listen to it in the evening. There was another one that I loved, and it had a creaking door in the introduction and something about “welcome to the Macabre”. Can’t remember the name of it, but it was so great.
Enjoy!
