Real Estate P0rn

Rancho View We’re camped at a rancho (which happens to be for sale) outside Alamos and it is SO quiet and lovely. High clouds have rolled in and it looks like rain; we had a fuzzy moon last night. Alamos has supposedly been infiltrated with Canadians and Americans buying up old historical ruins and mansions (the town was founded in 1641, I think) and restoring them. So naturally, as I headed to bed last night, my mind turned to p0rn; p0rn of the most expensive kind; real estate p0rn. I emailed links to Jamie and he is adamant that we visit Barranco House. It is pretty freaky when houses are given names. At any rate, enjoy the p0rn.

Cactus In completely unrelated news, I’m taking a few days break from Yoga. I can’t figure out WHAT I keep doing to my lower back but driving the past two days has been excruciating due to whatever it is. I really wish I knew what I was doing that casued this pain so I could STOP. I had the most lovely practice the other day; it doesn’t hurt when I practice, only the day after. I was really starting to get somewhere; full 1/2 lotus on one side and approaching 1/2 lotus on the other. I’ve also been craving backbends; when I have a moment, I’ll stand and start to inch backwards, loving the stretch, compression, open feeling in the nippie area (which reminds me that Ellen is beginning, very very slowly, two steps forward, one step back, to wean) and just hang there for a while, not quite sure what to do with myself.

Anyway…today we head to Alamos. I think I’d rather, if we were to buy property, to purchase in Dolores Hidalgo, as it also is on the national historic registry, but without the huge influx of gringos.

That is GORGEOUS!! I love that house.

Have you guys ever been to Bari de Navidad? My friend has a small house or condo there up in the hills overlooking the ocean. They absolutely love it.

Hope you enjoyed your dark beer!
