Well, it has been a most interesting day.
Jamie and I have changed beds; he is in “my” room and Ellen and I are in the living/dining area. I’ve decided I really don’t like this that much as if you sleep on the sofabed (it folds out into a fullsized bed) Jamie and Sissy are crawling over you at night to get to the bathroom. If you sleep on the dinette, you are squished up against each other or awakened by people pissing about 5 feet from your head (the joys of living in a trailer). So last night, I started the night on the unfolded sofat bed (nay, the Sofa Itself) and Ellen took the dinette (actually she crashed hard while Jamie and I were on our nightly walk and I moved her to the dinette) until I was awakened, in the wee hours of the morning (no doubt she had little trouble finding me from the gawd awful snoring coming from my mouth) with her trying to squeeze onto the sofa with me). I joined her on the dinette and it was the best night of sleep so far. So either I’m getting used to the random waterfalls 5 feet from my head, being awakened numerous times a night or I’ve managed to squish her into the wall instead of her kick me off the edge.
So, Pike woke me at 6:45. I’m sure you know how. He went back to sleep no problem. I got up and decided to try to get a post in before we left and maybe get an hour or two of work done. Instead I found that the site had been hacked. I’m actually, now, after fixing everything, quite grateful that whomever decided to replace my index.php file, change the admin password and email account did it. I made numerous changes that I hope will address the issues I had. If you have any questions, email me.
So, in the midst of me trying to make sure nothing else could be compromised; taking the site down, trying to figure out what was wrong, we started packing the trailer up for our enormous 75km move. Well, by the time we drove down the cuota to the road that would take us to the libre, it was 72km to Mazatlan, so it was probably more like a 100km day. Or more, actually. Anyway, we extricated the kids from the beach, but I have to say, that returning to old stomping grounds in Mexico is really quite comfortable. We’re in the same site we were last year and really, it was so comfortable, driving roads we remembered from last year, not trying to figure out how to get somewhere; simply going straight there, and we’re even in the same spot as last year. Sissy has been moaning for a good year about a horse she left here, at this campground, and impossible to imagine, but the very horse was waiting for her, on a rock, right in the area she lost it. We were all simply amazed. It is quite sunbleached, but she was overjoyed.
I’m not sure how long we’ll be here; Jamie lost his glasses in the surf at Celestino, I want to explore the Old Mazatlan area and take the kids to the Aquarium and the kids noticed that a water park (balneario) which had been closed last year is magically open.
I think that’s about it for now; let me know if any themes don’t work or if you can’t comment or if anything is funky, monkey.
If you can, send a shout to the west coast with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOCTOR to my sister. She’s now older than Jamie.

Hmmmm… but still younger than YOU! Thanks for the Feliz Cumpleanos. Kisses to the kids, C
