That sounds very much like life here in NM. We've gone to ABQ multiple times to pick up packages that keep bouncing back and forth and back and forth without ever making it here or having any useful updates. We've stopped by the side of the road when the UPS guy flags us down, thrilled that he doesn't have to drive up to our place. We've had several occasions when the reason for not delivering a package is essentially "we didn't feel like it". I think we've got them properly terrorized now, though; they've gotten fairly reliable. Thankfully! I'm glad you finally got your package. :)

I think of getting mail and packages in Mexico as being similar to how it must have been when Laura Ingles was still living with ma and pa ;-)

I'm sure receiving that brake controller was a great joy - kind of like a letter from home when I was in Vietnam ;-)

Have a safe journey!
