Oh My Goodness. I never thought I’d need to censor PHC; this weekend is a doozy. Especially with young kids (and two preteen boys). On the other hand, if they ever had a question about reproduction, it has now been answered.
Why didn’t anyone warn us?

I heard it and it was truly funny, although I was shocked and wondered why they didn’t warn us. I had 2 kids in the car, girls ages 13 and 9, and I didn’t turn it off, it was too funny. The 13yo knows the whole story anyway, and I don’t even know if she was listening. The 9yo probably was listening, but I don’t think she “got” much of it.

Well, I didn’t really need to *censor* Prarie Home companion, but I’ll tell you, they had the entire audience squirming in their seats going on about the sexual antics of our (now) old fart fathers. EEEP!
I don’t know how much Pike picked up on, but Jesse, I’m sure, got it all. I should ask him.
Chantele; one memorable skit was an interlude between a teen boy and his girl from the POV of the sperm.
Paula; my kids know the whole story also; the eldest has seen each of his 3 siblings born. I didn’t want to censor, I was just squirming, you know?

Our Sun routine PHC then Wait Wait however this Sun I was only half listening as we were putting slate tile on the front porch. I did have to stop and listen to “The Fatherhood Song” gave me pause-and I’m an L&D nurse. Really it was quite funny.
