My mom is in the hospital with multiple blood clots and expected to be there a few days. If you can keep her in your thoughts, and also my poor Dad, who must be bumping around the RV, lost without his constant companion.
On the other hand, my sister and I think this may simply be a ploy to get more flowers.

Hi, Kitty,
I called the hospital this morning to see if your Mom can receive flowers in the ward where she is. They don’t allow flowers there. Maybe she’ll be able to receive them when she is assigned to a room.
Love,
Aunt Kathy

We’re sending healing thoughts her way as well. It’s so difficult to be far away at times like this. I’m sure she will be fine but I’m also sure that you would feel more secure about that if you could hold her hand.

Keeping them in my thoughts!
Where is your beautiful header and sidebars and stuff? Where did they go?

I love your blog. I relate to much having spent time in Baja California with our seven year old in the past two years. We basically tossed her unprepared into the local school in Loreto. It was quite the experience.
Best wishes to your parents.
(Yes, where are the headers and sidebars and photos?

I have met neither you guys nor Papa and Tata. But I follow boths blogs so I fell as if I know you and I’m prayin’ like hell. Bit of a contradiction there but you get the idea. She’s in my thoughts.

thanks everyone; she was in a cardiac ICU ward with visitor limits of 5 minutes and the day I arrived had been moved to the vascular ward. She is much improved and I think she was released, on oxygen, today. My folks will stay in the area as she is still on O2 and must stabilize the heparin and medication in her body before she can leave; she’ll have very frequent blood tests to monitor this drug.
So, thanks again everyone. She was the star of the vascular ward and if you ever need to go to hospital, Akron Ohio is the place to be.
