A quick note with more to come. We have no electricity or water but palapas look good. Ocean came up to the front of Natalie and Chad’s palapa but a quick perusal tells me no damage. We’ll clean it up tomorrow. Kevin, if you’re reading, all you lost was your car cover (but I haven’t been inside; I’ll do that tomorrow). Ian and Deb, I can’t see ANY damage; you did have quite a bit of water but I tried to get most of that out. We’ll clean it up tomorrow. Ours has some guano stuck to the walls (which tells me the wind was MUCH stronger here than Cancun) but we have (after a very quick perusal) no damage.
Again, pictures and more tomorrow or after I take a shower. I’ll probably add to this after I wash the sweat off.

Hooray! We’re so glad you are home and everything is okay. It did look terribly dire. We’re anxious for photos - I hope you can wash up, thought, and get comfortable. You must be exhausted. Kiss the kids for me - Love

Really happy that you all are safe! It might be a mess, but at least it’s still standing! Good luck.

i was really freaking out zane from watching the weather channel and looking on the laptop - i had to stop myself many times for his sake. i think with the storms we have had lately he was thinking it could be here. we’ve had a lot of rain lately.

Good to hear things are turning out much better than first anticipated for your area. Awesome that you’re able to return home so quickly as well, must make the kids feel better too. Take care.
