We’re posting from our gate at the Cancun airport terminal 3. We’re headed to the US. Whether or not we get in, past US Customs, will be the question of the day. We’re REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone but a bit nervous about making our plane. Barry, one of the PaaMul residents was so helpful in bringing us to the airport - taking a bus would have been such a hassle. We still had a TONNE of luggage and carryon. I’ll try to upload a picture (real time). We only have about 45 minutes to wait to board (even though we got here 2.5 hours early and had NO LINE to check in). Checking in, going through security (where Ellen lost a pair of scissors) and getting replacement FMT’s for five of the six of us takes a bit longer than the normal passenger. If we can, we’ll post from South Carolina (!!!) where we catch another plane for the second half of our journey.
We barely made our plane in North Carolina (we went even FURTHER north than I originally thought) due to the necessity to pass through Immigration, Customs, pick up our luggage, re-check our luggage and LEAVE the security area and go BACK THROUGH security once again! More later when we’re less brain dead. :) We made it to California and were at our hotel by 2am our time.

They are here safely, but Kitty is sick. We’re hoping a good night and day of sleep put her right. Please send good thoughts! Jaime is fine and the kids are all in heaven playing with their cousins.

I hope you are all having a great visit with your family, and you were feeling better for the picture session. I’m working on getting the motorhome packed up for our trip to Mexico the first week in November. We have three months, but will probably stay on the Pacific Coast this year.
