You might ask me, “hey, you; what’s with the, “I’m so busy” waaah waaah “I can’t find a minute to post” waaah waaah waaah? And you’d be right, I totally forgot that part. Or, maybe I just wanted another post to put up another picture that I haven’t even downloaded yet.
I’ve been doing the, What The Hell Am I Going To Do With The Rest of My Life dance. Jamie has pretty much just been watching as it is a fierce dance to watch. And you might well ask, “Um, hey, didn’t you already do that dance?” and you’d be absolutely right; we DID do this dance and we did make decisions and then we bought the palapa. And instead of flipping it we’re staying here. And so my previous dance was for naught. Well, kinda. So I’ve been looking at nursing schools and trying to figure out how to get online classes, and while there are schools who give classes and schools who give exams (it is up to you to figure out the learning process) it isn’t quite as easy as it was a couple years ago, and it was neither cheap nor easy then.
So…we decided to invest in a course in medical transcription to allow me to earn money while I’m figuring out the nursing school thing. And find a house to purchase in Merida to rennovate. We just can’t get the colonial gem desire out of our blood. So that, in a nutshell, is what has kept me on the computer running numbers and researching until schools and abbreviations and locations and more numbers have been leaking out of my ears.
Oh, and the inbox? I’m afraid it might be a lost cause.

You shoud email Scott, unless I haven’t given his email to you? Let me know. He sold his place in Merida and is in the process of buying another, he knows a lot of people there and folks who want to sell, but aren’t listed. He is in Brazil right now until February!
Well, so glad that you FINALLY posted. ah, the whole freaking out life dance, good times, good times!

Hey! The house next to ours is for sale by owner for 450k pesos. Not a big yard but a nice house and parking!!! …for one car in front of the front door but, you could move the front door.
I too marveled at the drive out to Sacbe, Guadalupe I think the neighborhood is called. Interesting places, both of them.

I don’t believe that this dance ever stops! And I do believe that those who think that they’ve finished the final steps are deluded.
Wouldn’t it be a shame if we ever stopped wondering what to do with our lives?

Yes, I’m sorry to report even at 72 I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up
I recently saw a big beautiful Class C motor home pulling a beautiful large trailer. On closer inspection the trailer was a coffee shop on wheels! espresso, latte, capuccino, the works!!!
Be still my heart, that brought back memories of the time we almost went into the coffee shop business in Berkeley. I could do it now and combine two loves: coffee and RVing. Yikes! I’m going over the edge….

Hey…..my daughter-in-law is a medical transcriptionist and loves it….giving her the time she needs to spend with out granddaughter. She works for a great “company” and does it all by her lappie. If interested, let me know!!!!
