Chrissy must have this as her mantra.  We didn’t kill her by sticking her kids on a sidewalk while waiting for the car to be fixed.  We didn’t kill her by putting her on a ferry that used hydroplaning as a method to park big rigs.  We didn’t kill her by feeding her rotten chicken.  We didn’t kill her by dragging her into the jungle on an exercise walk in the noonday sun.  I did, however, almost kill her by taking her out to “snorkel” in our bay during the most wicked gale raged overhead.  She braved the 3 meter waves and battled the viscous current and SURVIVED.  But barely.  I think maybe we should stop trying to kill my sister and instead show her Mexico.  Unfortunately, I’m not sure the two goals are exclusive here.

We had a great time on Cozumel and you can read all about it on my sister’s blog; no need for me to re-create the experience when she’s done such an amazing job.  We are hoping to hit a cenote today (for non-tropical storm snorkeling) or Akumal’s Yal-ku lagoon (depending on the winds).  We still have to resolve both the overcharging issue with the van’s alternator and the fact that one battery seems to be discharging at a frighteningly fast rate (we have 2 batteries in our van).  So there’s that.  Hey, maybe we can kill her with an exploding battery?
