Ok, YOU being concerned about going out in just a t-shirt? I remember when Slade and I moved to Chicago you helped load the ROOF of our JEEP wearing the same get-up. Times have changed I guess!

I’m glad the electrical issues will be dealt with – too bad it took a fire to get it done. We had snow here yesterday and today. Slade and the boys went out a little while ago and had to use the snowblower to clear the sidewalk. YIKES! Will Spring ever arrive???

That’s scary! I remember hearing about the fire that took out a whole row of Paamul. I’d be very nervous living so near all those palapa roofs and questionable electricity. Get those fire extinguishers filled and keep them handy. Perhaps also keep an emergency evacuation pack in the van, with medication and a change of clothes for everyone? also a bottle of rum.

Sounds like a horrific experience.

I know, Kitty, that Chrissy’s life has been in danger with you down there – (all the tales described in previous posts).

Was this a way to celebrate her birthday? Candles on a cake would have been plenty. Enough of the “big bang” surprises.

Seriously, we are grateful that your BIL was present and that all the other volunteers were so heroic.

I love the food choices. But one thing…..no one loaded up the coffee beans and the ESPRESSO MACHINE! Sheesh. Priorities people!
