What are your top 3 favorite foods?
Coffee, rajas (those strips of pickled jalapeños, carrots and onions) and really good, street tamales. My top 3 favorite foods change on the spur of the moment. (is rum a food? :))

What was the last book you read and would you recommend it?
It is really hard to get books down here and I always forget myself when I buy oodles of books for the kids. I honestly can’t remember the last book I read because it has been so long (books I’m reading to the kids don’t count) but the last memorable book was Shantaram

What are your top 3 favorite places?
Chama, NM on top of Cumbres Pass; the Caribbean; the Chillean archipelago; Patagonia; Torres del Paine (oh shit, i’m on a roll); Highway 50 from Nevada to Utah; the Santa Fe trail from Zacatecas to Kansas; the Chilkoot trail between Alaska and Canada; Yosemite; Zacatecas; Coatepec, Veracruz; El Requeson, BCN; the Dolomites.

What was the last lie you told?
that a battery wouldn’t hold a charge

What are your favorite 3 sports (to watch or participate in)?
Cycling, futbol, swimming

What was the last movie you watched and would you recommend it?
The Bee Movie. Yes

Costco, Cancun. Two days ago.

I hung the laundry and started a new load.

We have books of art for the kids; a “Fear” piece by van Gogh.

anatomy, grammar, medical language

What was the last musical or theatrical event that you attended?
The Lion King in SF some 4 years ago (or 3?).

What are the first 3 things you would do if you won the lottery?
Depends on which lottery. Save, invest, donate.

something with my achilles. After many years I think I can run again.

Chat with Louis and Clark, Ashtanga Yoga asanas with ease, know the decisions I make for the kids are right
