I have wasted the entire afternoon absolutely GLUED to Weather Underground watching Gustavo. It is so hard to believe that a Cat4 hurricane that has (most likely) devestated Cuba has been offshore all day long. I used the excuse that you never turn your back/computer/attention away from a hurricane that closeby but it was also simply fascinating to watch it approach and mow down the beautiful country of Cuba. Now that he seems to be heading to the CONUS and there seems to be no risk of him turning towards us, I’ll get back to life. Tomorrow we head to Cancun to get Sissy her birthday apple pie and we might just skip our Mexican Sunday this week as her birthday is Monday and she is Queen for a Day.
Have some fun with this. I did Central America/Caribbean, Mexico, South America and Canada but wouldn’t even begin to think I could do anywhere in Asia. Geography quiz. I got 89 on my first try and 92 on my 2nd, it took me THREE tries to find the state of Colima. I remember seeing signs for it in Guadalajara but also remembered signs in Veracruz state so i was somewhat confused. Sheesh! Anyway, let me know how you do! I have a feeling that Jonna will now have the record (though after 3 tries I’m still at only 94/96).
