@Jody – um, yeah. I had more books on the list but, well, there’s always Scarleteen and Google. Gas prices are insane! I am astounded they are so low.

@Chris – I STILL have to find the kids warm clothes, but I think we’ll probably be ok. I don’t know if the boys have any long sleeved shirts though, but I might ask Michelle if they can borrow some of her boys’. They won’t need any warm clothes as they’ll be galavanting around in shorts and thongs. Right, Michelle?

Yes, Chrissy, I will laff – as I was reading the post about the cold issues I was thinking how warm Cali will be for us. It was 19 this morning!!! Still trying to decide about bringing Olive. Argh.

Thrift town will be open the day after turkey day. Also open till 5pm the day BEFORE t-day.

Do you want me to hunt down some cozy clothes for the kids to have available to you when you arrive?

Tho’ Michelle will laff at me, do remember that it will be vewwy, vewwy chilly for you up here – tho our midwest contingent will probably be wearing shorts and tank tops all next week. Next week! Yikes! I have to go order a turkey.!!

Gas was insane just a few months ago, and now it is about $1.84-$1.89/gal along the coast. It will make travel to the hills cheaper for us in the 5′er for Turkey week.

I love your book list. Got a teen and pre-teen do ya? Yah, me too. I was talking to Cory in the car about something in this area, and I spelled S.E.X out to him and Quinn said “psssst, mom…..I do know how to spell ,you know”.
