From what I gather, there is confusion about how and when the swine flu originated. Do you have a backup plan? An evacuation plan? What will happen if your community is infected? I am worried for you and your family. Please keep us updated. Take care.

Google has a map of the Swine Flu progression in real time.

I think this is the link: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=106484775090296685271.0004681a37b713f6b5950&t=h&z=2

Yeesh, Kit! I'm with Jody on this. If you have fever (over 102 for adult) you might want to try and get some Tamiflu. We're keeping an eye on things here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the week that we didn't pick up anything from Q.Roo or DF.

Lots of love & positive thoughts to you, C

Hi guys!

If Jamie and kids are having some flu symptoms, go to the doctor. I say this not because I think it is deadly, but because if Tamiflu is going to work, it has to be given in the first 48 hours. I was down with the influenza 3 years or so ago, and thought I was going to die (metaphorically speaking) it was so bad. Once Tamiflu was onboard, the turn around was amazing. The stuff is pure genius.

Prayers heading up to the big man from us for your quick recovery. Glad you stocked your pantry. I am off to stock mine as well. South Texas is mighty close to Mexico.

When I first saw the reports, I wondered how you & your family were doing.

Sending well wishes your way!
