@ Jody – we’d love to see you guys again! And the stuff. Yikes!

@MIchelle – YIKES! Ellen (Jamie’s sister) already told us it is freezing there, so we’re prepared (as well as we can be ) for the cold. Well, we have the stuff. Not sure if we’ll ever be prepared mentally. A couple of the kids are looking forward to snow though. The crazy ones.

we are so eager to have you come visit – i hope it isn’t when slade’s mom is visiting us (october 22- november 4) – but we will figure out whatever we need to. i hate to tell you that i heard horrible news today that it might SNOW this week. it was 38F this AM! would love to see you whenever!

I love this post. I have really missed your updates. It is so very true about the stuff. The newspapers are full of ads etc to tempt you and make you feel you have to have it and NOW. Don’t wait, or they will be sold out. I have decided the only way to avoid it is to run so far or surf for so long you are too tired to step foot in a store. It works okay.

And yes, damn weird creatures.
