We’ve been looking for a fridge since early this summer. We have been using a 10cuft fridge for a couple years now and would really like to move up to the 21st century, so when I espied a fridge sitting out in the road, I quite naturally nagged at Jamie until he helped me bring it in. It didn’t have the greatest of cooling capacity and it leaked like a sieve, but between it, the tiny fridge and the 6cuft trailer fridge, we were making do. We kept our eye out for fridge deals all summer but never saw anything that made us want to buy, especially since we were making do pretty well. While we were in the US this past fall the little fridge died and now we needed something more, so we found a great 14cuft fridge at Sams on discount and brought it home. Pikey was in LOVE with the icemaker and the water dispenser but today we’re finding that the temp doesn’t really go any lower than 55F. I guess we now know why it was REALLY on discount at Sams. Sigh.
The AC in the recamera has been on its last legs for a Very Long Time and while we were gone it looked like someone dropped a brick through it. There is construction going on next door, so who knows. So, while we were bleeding through the fridge purchase we picked up an AC for the recamera. Jamie is LOVING the new QUIET and efficient AC but Sissy is wishing for the freezer effect of the old AC.
One of the things I really like about the workout tracking site I use (http://www.dailymile.com) is the “motivation” you can send people. They have a whole page setup and feed you profile after workout profile with canned motivational sayings and all you have to do is SEND. It is so sweet and fun to sit and send motivation to strangers.
I’ve decided to track all my running stuff over at blogspot because I honestly don’t want to clutter this up (and I might not be able to handle the training anyway). The trailer is sinking deeper and deeper on one side and although I very strongly suggested that Dino even it out today it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. I think I’m going to try and level it myself tomorrow, at this rate the whole trailer is going to crumple on one side.
The nortes have left us for the moment and we’re loving the warmth. Well, *I* am. I have a feeling Jamie isn’t really all that much. Nights are still rather cool though.

Hey Kathy! Can I have your last initial…Because I have two Kathy’s in the 1.010 challenge it would be easier to keep track if I could differentiate between the two of you =)
