July 2006

Well, we really blew the budget on entertainment, groceries, eating out and gifts, but the very low camping expenses we’ve been paying (40 pesos a night) helped to equalize everthing. I also stopped paying our US auto insurance last month and I’m kicking myself that I paid it all these months without speaking up. Next month we head to the US and I hope we can keep our expenses down. I’m also hoping to save up for a good camera.

Auto/RV expenses (1/2 of this is the brake controller) $220.81
Entertainment $64.91
Eating out $85.16
Gifts $158.56
Groceries $635.77
Diesel/Gas/Propane $188.01
Household $9.46
Camping $259.47
Snacks $34.65
Storage Unit $160.00
Internet $60.26
Allowance $14.88
Sirius $7.40
Bike stuff $20.93
Doctor/Health related expenses $102.32 **
Medicine $5.37

Grand TOTAL $2027.96

** I just have to add this. The 102.32 in doctor expenses included; 4 doctor visits with exams, a six day supply of antibiotics, pain meds (I took only three or four times), 2 CBC’s (blood tests), 1 liver panel, 1 HIV test, 1 stool test and 2 urinalysis’.
