October 2006

We spent an amazing amount on food this month. Some was food as gifts and some was simply going insane at Amish bulk food stores. We also had a gigantic bill from May for the Westy (we couldn’t pay until we returned to the US). We had large restaurant bills due to all the time we were without the trailer (and cooking opportunities) while it was getting fixed. If we’d known Ameri-Camp was going to pick up the bill we would have eaten at the hotel. Gifts were overspent due to Maca and Ellen’s birthdays. We spent a large amount of money on cold weather clothing for the kids (long sleeved shirts, long pants, jackets, hats, gloves, boots and scarves) also they keep growing, damnit and need larger sizes. All thriftstore finds, of course.
